Line Companion
‘We will shift to the possibilities and, in doing so, understand that there is an unseen process that takes place. There is a movement between potential and possibility. It uses the language of the mind to describe it. I call it conceptualizing. One has to divorce oneself from thinking that conceptualizing is a word that describes a mental process. Let’s take the assumption that this is a word we can use to describe the awareness process, which requires a leap. There is a jump, like neurons firing in the brain.
There is a jump that takes place between the potential and the possibility. This is a very special place. Because we know that we deal with a wave environment at the emotional level and a frequency environment at the awareness level, we know that there is a movement in the frequency from the potential to the possibility.
One of the things that we will see as we go through our process with the lines is that you can almost read what takes place in between the lines. When you go for example to the 44.1, that started in the 32.1 and there is a process of conceptualizing to bring the possibility of that awareness to a point of clarity. This is a very special place. One of the things to keep in mind is that when you come to doing your own line studies, you will discover that, as you move through the lines, this movement becomes visible. You can see what is taking place as a conceptualizing process moving from the potential to the possibility.
The 44th hexagram and the 24th hexagram that is opposite it, the 19th and the 33rd hexagram form a cross in the zodiac. It is called the cross of The Four Ways. Coming to Meet is one of the four ways, the only one that is healthy. What you have to keep in mind about the relationship between the splenic and the heart center is that this is the only place where they meet. The thymus gland sits in the 26th gate and our lymphatic system is rooted in the 44th gate. Out of these two is where our basic protective system is developed: the B-cells are produced in the 44th gate and the T-cells are produced in the 26th gate. Together they form the healthiest channel that we have. The nice joke is that the healthiest way is the material way. This is very true because we have 10 million children born each week that are born hungry It is obvious they are not healthy because they are lacking material sustenance.
In the hierarchy, we see that the 44th gate, in terms of this material movement, is the personnel manager. It is the great nose. It can smell anything. That is what it is there for. The gate of alertness: Coming to Meet. It says here (above the lines in the original white book), the possibility is the transformation stored or not as a memory.
Remember that the 32nd gate, the potential in this stream, is the potential to recognize what can be transformed, or not. Once the 32nd gate (the financial officer) says, “I am going to spend my money on it,” at that moment, the 44th gate is ready to take that and store it as a memory. It stores what that is and works with it. When it is stored as a memory in the 44th gate, then they know exactly that the 26 will be able to carry that out. After all, the 44 cannot do it itself. The splenic system is not a motor. It is looking for the ego and its willpower in order to fulfill whatever this transformation potential is. It is one thing for the 54 to come up with the energy for the transformation. It is another thing for the 32 to say, “All right, we will commit to it.” It is yet another thing for the 44 to go looking for the right ego, but it still has to get out there and manifest in the end.
The awareness possibility is the osmotic regulator. This is cellular memory. This is the water balance. This is where the cellular memory is at its deepest. This is the pure gate of instinct, which means that the first and second lines that are instinctive themes represent the deepest cellular memory that you are going to find in a human being. These people have a very, very rich memory system. This is a spontaneous memory. Do not forget that we are dealing with an existential center. This is not a memory that can be called up. The 26th gate is the ability to manipulate, The Taming Power of the Great. The memory in the 44 is available instinctively in the moment, and it is there to recognize what is the right ego and what isn’t to fulfill the transformation. The personnel manager always has to surrender to the financial officer’s decision.
In the 32nd hexagram the heading was: The only thing that endures is change, and when you come the heading of the 44th hexagram you have: The success of any interaction is based on the absence of any preconditions. There are no preconditions. There is the instinctive memory of what is necessary which will simply respond in the now to the right relationship, to the right interaction in order to fulfill the transformation.’

Adaptive Immune System | Smell | B Cells
The adaptive immune system, also known as the acquired immune system, is a highly specific and complex defense mechanism that protects the body from infections and diseases. Adaptive immunity has a memory that allows it to respond more quickly and effectively to a second encounter with the same pathogen. This memory is created by long-lived memory B and T cells that are generated during the primary immune response to an infection or vaccination. Upon re-exposure to the pathogen, these memory cells are activated, leading to a faster, stronger secondary immune response with a shorter lag time compared to the initial primary response.
Adaptive Immune System
Key Features
- Specificity: The adaptive immune system recognizes and targets specific pathogens or antigens (foreign substances).
- Memory: It retains information about past infections and mounts a faster and stronger response upon re-exposure.
- Lymphocytes: The primary cells involved are lymphocytes, including B cells (Gate 44) and T cells (Gate 26).
- Delayed Response: Unlike the innate immune system, the adaptive immune response takes time to develop, typically days or weeks.
Smell
B cells are linked to smell through two primary mechanisms: they can produce specific odors when the immune system is activated by viral infections, and some research suggests they can “smell” certain compounds, such as insulin fragments. Additionally, a deficiency in B cells can lead to a significantly impaired sense of smell.
Potential
Transformation stored (or not) as memory. The instinct and memory to transmit one’s ego to the tribe.
The word “alertness” comes from the word “alert,” which originated from the Italian military phrase all’erta, meaning “on the watch” or “on the height”. This phrase was used to signal danger from a lookout point. “Alertness” is then formed by adding the English suffix “-ness,” which denotes a state or quality.
The etymology here is great, especially because the origin of the word involves ‘on the height,’ which points to the 44-26 relationship, because the T Cells are up high in the heart center (thymus), sending signals to the B Cells to activate and call them into action.
Gate 44 is a part of a tribal process:

44 remembers what 32 has committed money to, and stays alert to recognize the right relationship to bring success to this commitment. It is the one who manages people, recognizes willpower, and helps that willpower face rejection through manipulating its memory.
‘Oh, it’s not so bad, for every 20 nos you will get a yes! Go out there and get that sale so we can get our new printer 🙂 .’
For example, if Gate 32 is thinking about purchasing a new printer for the continuity of the office, Gate 44 could be the one who told 32 about the right model to meet their needs, as well as the one managing the people in the office, and keeping them productive to afford the printer. This gate is here to manage the communal process of delivering what the tribe needs.
In meeting the needs of its tribe, it’s also meeting the needs of other tribes by helping the sales people sell their products to them, enhancing what they have (45) and their ability to control (21).
Smell
Just as the B Cells can smell certain compounds, this gate is made to smell success and failure. Proximity is important, so that we can honor our sense of smell in tribal bargains as the body’s way of telling us who will, or will not, help us achieve success.
I wonder how the internet has impacted the functioning of this channel. In debilitating our ability to ‘smell out’ our relationships, communities, and business endeavors, can we say that the internet is fueling our shift away from the bargain?
On a mystical note, this gate literally stores the entire past.
‘The 44 represents the past. The 44 is our deep past. And not simply our past as a human, but our past going back into our whole specieal history, going back millions and millions and millions of years. It’s all stored there.’ Ra | Rave Anatomy II
It’s almost as if the entire past smells the present in order to create a materially successful future.
North American Holidays
Halloween and Dia de los Muertos both fall on days that the Sun is in Gate 44. Humans have always felt the effects of this transit, which is why they were able to integrate surface ancestral memory and fear patterns through their cultures and traditions, precisely when 44 is active.
Halloween originated over 2000 years ago with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. It marked the new year and a time when the boundary between the living and dead was thought to be blurred, allowing spirits to return to Earth. People would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward of spirits.
In contrast to Halloween, which increasingly embraces fear, Day of the Dead focuses on life-affirming joy and remembering the dead with love and respect.
Day of the Dead has roots in ancient Mesoamerican beliefs, which originated 3000 years ago, and viewed death as part of a natural cycle where the underworld was not a place of evil, but a place where life began. The spirits of the dead are not seen as malicious or threatening; they are ancestors visiting their families.
However, modern applications are making more room for fear as some traditions, such as using copal incense, are used to purify and cleanse the space of any other negative spiritual influences, ensuring the celebration remains pure and focused on the invited spirits.
Perhaps we are all becoming more aware of how the incarnation cycle is breaking down, which leads to our rituals evolving to embrace both honor and protection.
Fear of the Past
When we are running from the past, we cannot be alert in the present, which creates dysfunctional relationships, imbalanced businesses, and organizations with poor leadership.
This fear of the past lives in our genes, so our relationships and the challenges we face within them are the way that we clear out ancestral memory, and many people call it karma. Relationships created by this genetic baggage can bring strong bonds and challenging lessons.
Humanity is learning how to work across our ancestral, cultural, and racial barriers.
The repressive side of this shadow comes across as distrustful. They lost trust in self and life within their relationships and shut down out of fear. They defend themselves from relationships altogether, feeling safer without the love and pain that come with them.
The reactive side is misjudging. It makes the same mistakes over and over again in relationships because their instinct misfires. They ally themselves with people who don’t respect them, turn against them, and drain their resources.
Because this is a genetic issue, there is nothing we can do to overcome the shadow outside of living through the cycles until we learn the lessons, understand, and witness the ability to choose differently. Interference patterns transferred through DNA must be resolved for a fractal to be cleared. It’s as simple as being able to look at the past to learn from it, because the past doesn’t have to be a scary place if it teaches us something for the present. It’s useful and worthy of reflection.
As we overcome the collective interference patterns, we can begin creating better relationships. However, we will all continue to deal with the interference patterns until they are no longer operating.

High frequencies of 44 can smell its higher incarnation and life purpose in those around it, which is why it knows so much about group dynamics. These people have the ability to recognize who belongs in their life, even if the interference patterns stop the other from recognizing it too.
Cross of Planning Application
My husband and I own an auto detailing company called Garza Detail. We rent a bay at a local co:working space called MadJax, and this week they wrote a blog about our business. You can read it here.
They did a great job, and we had a lot of fun with the interviews and showing the writer around our shop. The article explained that we have had multiple businesses and that we built our current venture from the ground up. They also spoke about our in-house marketing and branding, highlighting our consistency in selling our services to the benefit of the community.
The article markets our success at MadJax to showcase the potential of this tribal stream, essentially showing others that they can do it too with the right space and community. It also aims to raise money and sell more memberships, all of which is perfect for gate 44.
I feel that I often get mistaken for having gate 26 defined, because I have 51-25. But unfortunately, I will not exaggerate or sell anything for anyone unless I see a deeper, personal, spiritual benefit for the person I am selling to. I have been absolutely surrounded by undefined spleens with 44 definition, including my mom, whose unconscious sun is in 44.6 detriment.
I actually attribute the success of Garza Detail to the integration definition between my husband and me, as well as my 1-8 channel, which allows us to show up as examples that contribute to the collective. It may look the same, but it’s very, very different.
Perhaps it is time for the tribe to start switching gears as we come into our own authority, as individuals, in the Sleeping Phoenix. I struggle to find healthy, functioning expressions of the 54-32-44-26-21-45, so who’s to say that our tribal streams will continue to function well at all? We may be witnessing the last gasp of the bargain now.
You can ask yourself:
- Do I recognize projection vs. healthy contribution to a community?
- Do I learn from my relationships? Do I struggle to communicate within them?
- Have I become aware of cyclical behavioral patterns and how they repeat?
- Have I recognized that knowledge is not power?
- Can chaos be a doorway to resolution?
- Can I believe in life after love 😉 ?
