Line Companion
‘So we move to the individual process and in doing so, we come to what is described in the Rave I’Ching as an extraordinary gate. The heading over the lines of the 57th hexagram is: The extraordinary power of clarity. The 57th gate, like all the other gates that are part of the integration process, is by its very nature much more complex than the other gates. The 57th gate represents the primary awareness of the integration channel and therefore, the 57 with the 34 is the awareness that establishes the archetype of being human. It is the 57 that establishes the nature of our Perfected Form when connected to the 10th gate, which is our design for survival, so it is the awareness for our survival. When the 57 is connected to the 20th hexagram, it is penetrating intuitive awareness in the now.
Everything about the individual process is acoustic. In the 28th gate, the potential, we have the fear of death and this deep need to struggle for whether life is worthwhile, or not. When you come to the 57th hexagram, we find the fear of tomorrow. Out of this fear of tomorrow and out of this acoustic field comes an awareness that tells us so much about what it is to stay alive because the 57th gate is really all about that: the awareness to stay alive. It is the gate of intuitive clarity and the possibility is the awareness to struggle for clarity, or not. It is still carrying the struggle from the 28/38 with it.
Real clarity can only exist in the now for this gate and after all, it is only half of the channel. It does not have the 20th gate at the other end. The awareness possibility is individuation, self consciousness, and the existential ear, the right ear. This is the ear that hears in the now. This whole process that we are going to look at in the 57th gate, please understand that it is in terms of what it is to stay alive as a human being. That awareness is essential. This is the gate that leads to that door.
This is individual circuitry, so please remember that the real key to individual survival will be in the third and fourth line because they carry individual themes. In the first two lines, we are looking at survival that has a tribal quality to them.’

Biology
Right Ear, Cranial Ganglia

Cranial ganglia associated with the right ear are the vestibular ganglion and the spiral ganglion, which are part of the vestibulocochlear nerve that carries auditory and balance information to the brain, and the geniculate ganglion, part of the facial nerve, which is involved in taste, facial expression, and sensory information from the outer ear.
The function of the right ear depends on the specific ganglia involved and their corresponding nerves:
- Vestibular ganglion: Located near the inner ear’s vestibular organs, this ganglion contains the nerve cells that are responsible for balance and spatial orientation.
- Spiral ganglion: Located near the cochlea, this ganglion contains nerve cells that transmit auditory information from the ear to the brain.
- Geniculate ganglion: A sensory ganglion for the facial nerve that supplies taste sensation from the anterior two-thirds of the tongue, as well as sensory fibers that innervate other areas including the external auditory canal and auricle of the right ear.
Potential
The capacity to penetrate to the core in the now. The possibility of transforming lessons learnt through trial and error.
Gate 57 is called Intuitive Insight, or ‘The Gentle,’ however, Ra has stated that this name is a misnomer because it is an extremely yang and penetrative energy. It is strongly associated with wind, and I like to compare it to a cold wind that chills the bones.
Wind is a marvel. It moves over the earth touching everything in its path, and there is no escaping it.
Jesus compared wind to the Holy Spirit, stating, ‘the wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.’ This emphasizes that Spirit acts according to its own will and cannot be controlled by humans. Fun Base 4 concepts happening here 😀
Just as wind can create, destroy, and bring change, the Holy Spirit is seen as a powerful force that can bring profound transformation to people’s lives.
On the other end of the Earth, Chinese Medicine describes wind (feng) as a pathogenic factor, both external and internal, that disrupts the body’s balance and causes various illnesses. They consider wind a light, yang force that moves rapidly and tends to injure blood and yin.
Looking at these different takes, I like to compare wind to the neutrino stream because it helps both of the above concepts make sense. The stream flows through us constantly, delivering our energetic weather and offering up willpower.
It also takes us with it, causing us to age. And because all things age in time, we can say that the neutrino stream technically ‘injures’ everything.
Taking this concept further, Gate 25 is considered the ‘blood of the universe’ because all inanimate objects have the possibility of having gate 25 defined. These objects are necessary as they gravitate to us, live with us, become lost, exchanged, or sold by us, and even break down at the end of their life. They are moved by the neutrino stream to the perfect places at the perfect time, just as they are broken down by the stream at the perfect time.
If this stream is responsible for aging everything, how can we possibly call it gentle?
Because embodying and allowing it brings us to passenger consciousness, which is the most gentle and true thing of all.
57 is intuitive insight in the Now. It is the constant witnessing of, and ability to communicate the neutrino stream. And in a delightful paradox, this is why it is so NOT gentle.
When a human is identified with, and being controlled by the mind, they do not want to hear what alignment has to say. They would rather chew off their own arm than let go of their mental plans and decisions, so accepting holistic intuition can feel like dying.
They are conditioned to run around, thinking that they are creating their own future, rather than watching their future unfold with the least amount of resistance, because the second concept does not allow them to take credit for all that happens.Â
Their entire identity is built upon taking credit, and they want to maintain that identity to fit in with the collective, rather than receive from Spirit as an individual in their own authority.
Cross of Planning Application
My mom and I are planning to attend a ‘witch’ party this weekend, and I had a fun 57 moment when we were planning our costumes.
We were looking at things we could buy, and we kept noticing the staffs. However, they didn’t look realistic, and they were all over $30. In that moment I knew I could make them for us because I am creative and I had the will to try.
I told them I was going to go to the river to look for branches, and my step dad (who has a very defined spleen) turned around and told me that the street department had left a bunch of tree branches at an abandoned house around the corner. I had the will to go in that exact moment, and I found two perfect branches.
$0 later, they look great, and I loved watching us work together in the present moment to accomplish something we wanted to do. Resourcefulness is truly one of my favorite things.
Fear of Tomorrow
When our mind will not allow our body to live in the present, we can safely say that we have a ‘fear of the future.’ Ironically, people who are afraid of the future are constantly thinking about it, grasping at it, and running towards it. It is obsessive, and they do not realize that they are usually running from their own past.
It feels nervous, and it makes my stomach hurt. It’s stressful, and there is no flow or ease to experience. It is blind fear scrambling to create security, unaware of the natural security (and injury) that moves through them all of the time.
This fear blocks humans from seeing and connecting to each other. At best, they can use each other in attempts to create a mental future. However, because their vision stems from fear and control, it never works. And, as a matter of fact, it often leaves a trail of destruction, causing them to go their separate ways, all while blaming each other and remaining blind.
When we are truly present, there is no past or future. We are right here, right now, receiving and witnessing change without having to control it. This is when, and how, we can receive and work with intuitive insight.
You can ask yourself:
Have I discerned the difference between intuition and mind?
Does my mind talk me out of my intuition? Can I decide at all?
Do I make spontaneous mental decisions out of a lack of trust in life?
Do I recognize that alignment allows life to support me in its own perfection and timing?
Can I stick to what I know regardless of the opinions of others?
Have you had any interesting events involving the concept of ‘the future’ over the last 6 days?
What are you holding onto about it? Can you let it go?
